Here's another book that I recommend for those embracing their intuition or curious about the topic. I enjoyed this book & shared some things in common with the writer. I could identify with some of her experiences and inspiration. The book "came" to me at the perfect time.

Here is another aura image from Jan 2012 from a San Diego psychic faire that happened to be in town the week I was there. The image has more purple/pink/magenta perhaps because I had a deeply emotional meeting with two friends a few days prior & I had been crying quite a bit for both of them. One of them-her father had passed away a few days prior to this pic, and the other friend was going through some extremely difficult, emotional family concerns.

This is one of the few pictures that I've seen of my Okinawan grandparents. Many of the pictures (and family historical information) were lost during the wars or from family misplacement, but thankfully this one from 1935 was among some of the things my mom had. I wish I knew more about my Okinawan heritage, but unfortunately I do not. I feel a sense of spiritual connection to my ancestors on my mom's side. I found this book to be very enlightening in terms of integrating some of the original Japanese concepts and values of the Reiki system.
Reiki is an adaptable and ever evolving system, but it's beneficial to review some of the concepts from the original system.

These are my aura pics from 2011. January 2, 2011 & December 2, 2011. The most recent picture from December 2011, shows the balanced green, blue, whitish orbs. I've been meditating and working on my personal spiritual connection and mind/body healing. Tending to, caring for, nurturing and developing our own spirit, mind and body is a continual process.
